Great apartment for faculty, medical professionals, or grad students! This is a 2 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment on the 2nd floor of a 2-story house in Newton. The apartment is a 5 minute walk to the Eliot stop on the MBTA Green D Line (the "T"),... which is a 20 minute ride to the Longwood Medical Area. The T runs approximately every 10 minutes from 5am to 1am. There is also parking for 2 cars on-site. It is within a mile of all the major roadways/highways including Rt 9, I-95, and the Mass Pike.
The neighborhood is very walkable. There is a CVS, Dunkin, dry cleaner, laundromat, ATM machine, & gas station across the street and it is a 10 minute walk to Trader Joes supermarket and restaurants and shops along Needham Ave. It is also a 10 minute walk to the restaurants and shops along Lincoln St. in Newton Highlands. There are walking/biking trails, including the Upper Falls Greenway, within a 10 minute walk.
The Newton school district is one of the top 10 in Massachusetts. The apartment is in the Zervas Elementary/Oak Hill Middle School/Newton South High School zone and the school bus stop is within a 5 minute walk. It is also walkable to Zervas.
