I’m currently looking for a property and contacted the number listed on their website. Unfortunately, the person at the front desk was incredibly rude and unhelpful. She answered the phone with a sharp, unfriendly "Hello?!" told me to call the leasing office M-F, which isn't information I would've known since this number was on their website. If I had a better experience with the front desk, I would've pursued this option for sure.

DO NOT LIVE HERE! walls are paper thin, smells weird, random sketchy people roaming the halls bc there are 5 entrances so you don't need to enter thru the one with the front desk, maintenance is nice but takes days to respond, mgmt never responds, fire alarm literally went off all night bc the fire dept could reach mgmt, not near ANY good restaurants or even convenient stores, SAVE YOURSELF AND DO NOT LIVE HERE! you will regret it greatly!

I really liked my apartment, the furnishings and space were really nice. However the amenities are unkempt, the hallways are rarely cleaned (there was a pile of throw-up on my way to the garage for at least two weeks), the gym equipment is old and breaks regularly, and the the staff is very apathetic to all of it.
If you're going to spend this kind of money on a luxury apartment go somewhere else, this place isn't worth it. If you're dead set on living in Southie there are tons of nice condos... for cheaper and you can get a gym membership.

$5,000 one year increase on top of last year’s $4,000 increase. No way to treat tenants, especially considering the gross and glaring maintenance and service problems, including:
- disgusting and foul apartment odor due to improper plumbing. Decaying food is stuck in kitchen sink trap that maintenance can’t / doesn’t fix
- Maintenance requests take min 3-5 days, repeated follow up and multiple visits to address
- Visibly dirty Hallway walls and carpets
- Unattended concierge desk
- Tons of... Airbnb-ers coming and going; feels unsafe
- Paper thin walls
- Frequently broken elevator
Your money would be better spent somewhere that appreciates tenant loyalty and provides decent service

0 out of 5 - Do NOT live at West Square Apartments, worst experience I have had in any apartment. Although they state themselves as “Luxury,” the overall experience is far from it except for the cost.
NOISE – unless you are on the top floor, you will hear every step and action that your above neighbors make. From walking, to opening doors, opening cabinets, everything not only makes noise but causes vibration throughout your unit. The overall quality of the build just is not good. If the... management then rents loud neighbors above you, they will do nothing to alleviate that. We were told our neighbors were a nice couple that had moved in above us and were “out of town” a lot of the time. After speaking with concierge and going upstairs to knock we realized they had rented the unit above us to 3 people on the lease who constantly had friends over. This led to noise complaints after 10PM for the better part of the year. The management did nothing about this.
Terrible Management, Building quality, safety etc - avoid at all costs
